This charming Bear was created in honour of Richard Steiff, an aviation enthusiast and creator of the Goldfish Plane on wheels - Racherplan -, which was never commercially produced. Teddy is fully jointed and crafted from the finest mohair, with the most endearing facial expression. He proudly wears his silk pilots scarf, which bears an Air Steiff logo, as he plays with his toy plane, which is attached to his paw. The Goldfish Plane (Rackerplan), is made from mohair, with airbrushed shadings, turnable propeller and wheels. This distinguished piece is a Worldwide Limited Edition of 2,007 pieces and comes boxed with his certificate of authenticity.
